Settings explained: General (organization settings) The Settings & Policies page can be accessed via the sidebar on the left-hand side of the page. (For customers who do not want the comments added to their tasks with the time information). Off – Will disable synchronizing task time for customers who really do not want it synced. (See the bottom of this page for a list.) (Delayed sync is currently not supported for Quickbooks.)Ĭomplete – The time will be pushed back to the integration tool once the task is marked as Complete, please note that not all integrations support task completion. Hourly – The time gets synced once an hour.ĭelayed – Delays your syncing time by a day, to allow for time manual edits. (The data gets sent back at midnight UTC.) To do this, go to Settings & Policies > Integrations > click on the integration name > set Timelogging to:ĭaily – The time gets synced once per day. To avoid this (on the integrations side), you can delay or disable the Timelogging feature of your integration. For more information about locked time, click here. I imagine most organizations wouldn’t use this feature, but I can see some real value when working with remote contractors you may have never even met.Locked time refers to the time that cannot be edited or deleted normally to preserve data integrity between your integrations and/or payments. You can even set up automatic screenshots while employees are working to monitor if employees are working on what they say they are. But then the time tracker will email alerts to inform you right away of any late, missed, or abandoned shifts, so you’ll know about your employee attendance and what they accomplished. The scheduling app provides an easy way to manage your staff schedule. I think what is most intriguing, however, are the employee scheduling and monitoring capabilities. The Hubstaff reporting area is a nice way to see the exact time spent working on project tasks. Integrating Hubstaff and Asana only takes a few minutes and after that there are automatic updates (project teams stay synced). When they’re done working on a task, they can mark it as completed from Hubstaff and the time will be posted to the Asana task. Hubstaff’s Asana time-tracking integration allows employees to track time on their Asana tasks. Hubstaff is a time-tracking and employee monitoring solution available for Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook, iOS, and Android.
